October: Pumpkin Patch, Halloween and Brinnley's Baptism!

The cutest pumpkin in the patch...

We found a cute little pumpkin patch in North Bend with beautiful views of Mt. Si.

We had a ton of scheduling issues trying to get everyone to be able to attend Brinnley's Baptism. We ended up having a private ceremony with one other family on Halloween. It was a very special day to us as we watched our little girl get baptized and were joined by our close family and friends. It was a great day!

Colin's mom, Elaine, bought Brinnley this beautiful bonnet to represent Brinnley's Irish heritage. One day Brinnley can use the bonnet as a handkerchief for her wedding day. It was a beautiful gift and a great way to have Colin's grandparents be a part of the day, even though they are no longer with us.

The only time she cried was when Father Bryan poured the Holy Water over her head. Her Godfather Mitch was standing by, along with Leah, who stood in for Godmother Jami (who was home with her sick little boy.)

After the baptism, we had a little lunch party at Grandma and Grandpa's house. The poor thing hadn't napped all day, so here's how she spend the first half hour of the party...

Steve snuggled with Brinnley after she woke up a bit grumpy from her nap.

I love the look on Kaitlyn's face.

Later that night we had our parents over for dinner and Brinnley's first Halloween. My mom brought pizza...
